Le mordenti della serie M.E.O.2 sono fornite, al loro interno, di una centralina idraulica con distributore elettrico per comandare il movimento di apertura e di chiusura. Tale centralina è stata studiata con un meccanismo meccanico che facilita il lavoro prolungato dell’attrezzatura, così da evitare il surriscaldamento dell’olio quindi il consumo delle guarnizioni, dei tubi e di tutta la struttura. La mordente utilizza due cilindri di adeguato alesaggio, per garantire la forza di presa e la loro velocità. Per la loro conformazione queste attrezzature vengono utilizzate per la movimentazione di materiale leggero in spazi in cui l’altezza è ridotta. Un esempio di utilizzo è quello per la pulizia delle vasche negli inceneritori; infatti, grazie alla forma squadrata delle valve, è possibile raccogliere il RSU negli angoli della vasca. Per la costruzione vengono utilizzati i migliori materiali e miglior componentistica esistente sul mercato, che permettono all’attrezzatura di garantire un lavoro duraturo e nelle condizioni più disagevoli. La mordente elettroidraulica può essere fornita anche a tenuta stagna per lavori in immersione o in cattive condizioni ambientali.

The clamshell grabs in the M.E.O.2 series come supplied, internally, with a hydraulic power unit and electric distributor to control the opening and closing movement. This power unit was created with a mechanical mechanism which makes it easier for the machinery to work for prolonged periods of time, preventing the oil overheating and thus wear and tear on the washers, pipes and the entire structure. The clamshell grabs use two cylinders with appropriate bores, to ensure their clamping strength and speed. Due to its structure, this machinery is used to move light material in places with limited height. One example of its use is for cleaning incinerator tanks; in fact, thanks to the square shaped shells, the refuse can be collected in the corners of the tank. Top quality material is used in manufacturing as well as the best components available on the market, thus ensuring that the machinery will be long lasting and capable of carrying out work in the most difficult situations. The electro-hydraulic clamshell grab can also be made watertight for immersion work or for work in poor weather conditions
